Colon cancer is the no. 2 leading cause of cancer-related deaths in Estonia. Although more cases are being diagnosed in people aged 40-50, colon cancer screening only begins at age 60. Since the screening involves providing a stool sample, many people consider it a taboo topic. The campaign aimed to break those taboos. Early screening could save 150 lives each year.
